We Helped Harrison Get Treatment Covered by TRICARE Health Insurance

‘Harrison,’ an AZ National Guard Reservist, called Changes Healing Center under orders from his commanding officer. He’d reported for a weekend of service and failed a drug test. After speaking with Harrison, our admissions specialist learned that Harrison had attended outpatient rehab in the past and had enjoyed almost six months of sober living before he’d relapsed into heavy drinking.

A top high school gymnast, Kendra had a full-ride college scholarship to her first-choice university. But a severe tumbling injury damaged her neck and led to chronic pain. Her healthcare provider gave her prescription drugs to ease the pain as the tissue healed.

But even worse than that, Kendra lost her spot on the college gymnastics team a few weeks later. Then, a letter in the mail advised her that she’d lost all her scholarship funding when she lost her spot on the squad.
